THE IPHONE 6 PLUS certainly doesn't come cheap. Boasting a hefty 5.5in screen, but lacking the protection against dust, scratches or water as seen on rivals such as the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z3, it's only natural that owners will consider ways to protect the £600+ smartphone from knocks, bumps and drops.
We've taken a look at some of the cases on offer for the iPhone 6 Plus and have rounded up our favourites. We'll be updating this as soon as we get our hands on more, so be sure to keep the page bookmarked.
For the minimalist: Spigen SPG Ultra Hybrid clear case
Most iPhone users will baulk at the idea of a case that dramatically changes the phone's appearance, weight and size.
A case that looks to eliminate this concern is the Spigen Ultra Hybrid cover. Its transparent hard plastic construction and minimal coverage area means that it won't noticeably change the thickness or weight of the already huge iPhone 6 Plus.
It's also very discreet when viewing the iPhone from the front, while covering the corners with its Air Cushion Technology manages to protect the device from hard knocks.
Costing £20, you don't feel like you're getting much for your money, but it's one of the most slim-line and minimal cases out there, and worth every penny if you don't want to disturb the shimmering facade of your beloved Apple phone.
For the Apple fanbois: Official Apple leather case
Those who couldn't possibly wrap their iPhone in anything other than the official thing need look no further than the Apple Store.
These Apple-designed iPhone 6 Plus cases fit snugly over the volume buttons, Sleep/Wake button and curves of the iPhone 6 Plus without adding much bulk.
There's a soft microfibre lining on the inside which looks to protect the iPhone, and Apple has given the exterior leather material a soft-touch finish for extra grip.
Better still, it retains the Apple logo on the back so everyone knows you've splashed out for the real deal.
Saying that, like anything else with an official Apple logo emblazoned on it, these official cases don't come cheap and will set you back £39 a pop. They are available in six bright colours, though, if you can afford more than one.
For the executive: Krusell Kalmar Walletcase
This protective leather case is perfect for business types, offering a high-end professional portfolio look and business-class style.
The outside has pockets and pouches galore, making room for bank cards or business cards, as well as for notes or cash, so it's ideal for those with a busy schedule who want everything in one place and don't want to faff around looking in separate bags and pockets.
The Kalmar Walletcase is not just about looks, however. Professional as it might appear, it's also efficiently padded and features hard plastic corner protectors that keep the iPhone in place and protect it from bashes and bumps.
At £30, we found the Krusell Kalmar Walletcase a fitting accessory for those who wear a suit every day.
