AN AS-YET-UNNAMED Motorola handset has appeared online touting a Huawei P30 Pro-rivalling quad-camera setup.
Typically-trustworthy tipster OnLeaks, posting to CashKaro, has shared images, alongside a 360-degree video (below), of the mysterious Moto flagship. The images confirm that the handset will sport a teardrop notch similar to that on the Moto G7 alongside a fingerprint sensor built into its 6.2in screen.
Shortly after revealing what may be #MotorolaP40Power, I'm back to provide your very 1st look at yet unknown device, the first 4 rear camera powered #Motorola phone! 360° video + 5K renders + dimensions + few specs on behalf of new Partner @Cashkarocom -> https://t.co/9WLdgYE3s1 pic.twitter.com/FySFU3h9pv— Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks) April 3, 2019
More interestingly, there are four cameras attached to the handset's backside, alongside a "48MP" label. This suggests that the Moto device will either have a 48MP main sensor or will combine multiple 12MP sensors that all shoot simultaneously, similar to the bonkers-looking Nokia 9 PureView,
Elsewhere, the Motorola smartphone will sport both a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C port and will measure in at 9.9mm at its fattest point.
Beyond that, there aren't many other details about the device, though OnLeaks notes that it'll likely arrive as part of a new series of smartphones from Motorola, referencing recent rumours that the firm is plotting to bin its series X devices.
There's no word yet on pricing or availability, and Motorola has yet to comment on the rumours.
The handset could make its debut alongside Moto's long-hyped foldable Razr smartphone, which the company in February confirmed would be "coming soon". µ
