SPOILER ALERT: Apple is definitely going to announce the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus today.
Somebody at Apple is probably breathing a sigh of relief that Steve Jobs isn't still in charge at the firm, as a Reddit user has spotted the smartphones listed on the firm's website.
As well as debunking those hard to believe rumours that Apple's new iPhone could launch as the iPhone 6SE, the slip-up seems to confirm the death of the headphone jack.
Eagle-eyed Greenham spotted that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have connection types listed as Airplay, Bluetooth or wireless, the biggest hint yet that the 3.5mm jack will be no more.
However, the headphone jack-equipped headphones shown on the page are listed as compatible with the new smartphones, adding weight to rumours that Apple will offer some sort of 3.5mm-to-Lightning adaptor that will probably cost you about £70.
The leak, which is likely to have resulted in the clumsy Apple staffer responsible being given the boot, doesn't reveal anything else about the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
However, we can expect to see new colour options (Dark Black and Piano Black), waterproofing, a Force Touch-style Home button, an upgraded camera set-up and a revamped storage offering of 32GB, 128GB and 256GB.
Following Apple's announcement later today, the iPhone 7 is expected to go on sale this Friday with an in-store release the following week. Get your sleeping bags at the ready.
We'll cover the iPhone 7 launch from 6pm UK time this evening, so be sure to keep an eye on INQ for all the latest. µ
