GIN AND JUICE ADVOCATE and rapper Snoop Dogg, or Snoop Doggy Dogg, or Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, is not very happy with Bill Gates and the up and down performance of Xbox Live and the games company Electronic Arts.
Snoop is usually laid back and has his mind on other things, but he is really miffed about the Xbox and its multiplayer service.
He could have produced a sizzling beef rap and aimed it at Gates (we can only begin to imagine the response from the Gates posse) but instead took to Instagram. He is so mad that he has threatened to take his gaming business to the PlayStation equivalent.
Snoop (no relation to the beagle) didn't hold back. "Message to xbox1 n ea server fix your shit or playstation here we come," he said in the message. Some 30,000 people have 'liked' this, but we presume Big Willy Gatez is not one of them.
An accompanying video message mirrors the text and the threat, but elaborates and pulls in a few f-bombs.
"A message to Xbox One or Microsoft or whoever the f**k. Y'all f**king server is f**king wack, man," says Snoop. "Y'all going to make me switch to PlayStation if y'all don't ever get this s**t fixed. Is it that difficult to play someone online? F**k is you doing, Bill Gates? Fix your s***, man."
Microsoft admitted to problems with Xbox Live in a Twitter post and confirmed the ups and downs on its service pages, but it does not seem to have gone to Snoop direct with a peace pipe.
We're looking into some troubles with Xbox Live. Keep an eye on this page for the latest updates: https://t.co/99xfLMWcZW— Xbox Support (1-5) (@XboxSupport) January 13, 2016
Snoop, who considered running Twitter for a while, oughta know that the PlayStation Network generates just as many complaints among its own gamers. µ
