Peter Molyneux has left Microsoft
New role at 22 Cans
CLASSIC GAMES DESIGNER and programmer Peter Molyneux has announced that he has left his present employer, Microsoft, now that his latest project is completed.
Molyneux announced his departure via Twitter in a short message, explaining that he has left Microsoft and Lionhead Studios.
"I have left the lovely amazing Microsoft and lionhead. Now for something really amazing, scary and brave a new company called 22 Cans," he said.
Molyneux, who has completed work on Fable: The Journey, is perhaps best known for Populous. He set up Lionhead studios in the late 90s after his earlier firm Bullfrog was bought up by Electronic Arts. As well as the Fable series, Molyneux also created the Black and White franchise.

We can't find any details on 22 Cans except for a brief note on the Gamesindustrybiz web site that says that the firm has one employee. We are assuming that that refers to Molyneux. µ
