TAIWANESE PHONE MAKER HTC's recently announced Windows Phone 7 Mango based smartphones will arrive next month starting at £349.

We've known about the pair of Windows Phone 7 (WP7) handsets only since last week and already we have prices and availability dates courtesy of Amazon.co.uk. We knew the phones would be available next month but now we know you can pre-order them for delivery on the 15 October.

The Radar is the cheaper of the two at £349 and will come with a 3.8in super LCD screen, a 1GHz processor, 8GB of internal storage and a 5MP camera. Both devices will feature DNLA wireless streaming technology.

The Titan is a higher end model and will come with a more impressive 1.5GHz processor and retail for an eye-watering £489. It has twice as much storage as its little brother at 16GB and an 8MP camera.

We haven't seen the phones available for pre-order elsewhere but Clove.co.uk has different prices than Amazon. The online retailer has the Radar down as £285 and the Titan as £498. It says stock is expected in early October.

HTC normally makes handsets with Google's Android operating system but its two most recent handsets in the Titan and Radar will be among the first to come out that run WP7 Mango. µ
