Motorola Moto G video review

We go hands-on with Motorola's sub-£150 Android smartphone
Fri Jan 24 2014, 13:00

AMERICAN PHONE MAKER Motorola's Moto G smartphone has jumped on the affordable Android smartphone bandwagon as it looks to challenge the Google Nexus 5.

However, the Moto G doesn't have the most impressive specifications, although for £135 we shouldn't complain. There's a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor under the bonnet powering the handset's 4.5in 1280x720 resolution 329ppi display.

There's also a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, and Google's Android 4.3 Jelly Bean mobile operating system. However, due to Motorola's close relationship with Google an update to Android 4.4 Kitkat is already available.
