In Short
It's hard not to like the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini. While its specifications are by no means as impressive as those found on the full-sized Galaxy S3, it's worth noting that it's much cheaper than its older brother at around £300 SIM-free.
However, that raises another issue - the Google Nexus 4, which retails for just £239 and features similar if not better specifications than the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Sure, the camera isn't all that fantastic and its screen leaves a little to be desired. But we'd certainly recommend this phone to those not keen on handsets with massive 4.8in screens, as the Galaxy S3 Mini proved itself to be a decent, albeit mid-range phone during our hands-on testing. µ
The Good
Nice design, good camera, excellent battery life, runs Google's up to date Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
The Bad
Noticed some lag, screen disappointing compared to the Galaxy S3.
The Ugly
High price tag compared to similar or better phones.
