Apple Ipad Mini review

In Short
So, is it worth the extra £100? We think so.

For those after a small tablet for simply browsing the web and checking Facebook, the Google Nexus 7 does a great job. However, for those in the Apple ecosystem and those who have never used a tablet before, the Apple Ipad Mini is a great choice.

The tablet's size is ideal, especially for those who will use it predominantly for surfing the web. Although smaller and lighter than its Android rivals, the Ipad Mini's additional screen real estate makes a big difference.

Apps are another pull. While Google Play is quickly catching up with the Itunes App Store, it isn't doing so well when it comes to tablet optimised apps, of which Apple boasts around 300,000.

While it's lack of top-end specifications might put off technology enthusiasts, we're pretty certain that the Apple Ipad Mini will become yet another hit. µ

The Good
Great design, IOS 6 is easy to use, screen size is good, long battery life, good camera.

The Bad
Screen isn't as good as Apple's Retina display.

The Ugly
Expensive compared to rival Android tablets.
