TAIWANESE PHONE MAKER HTC has launched its flagship Windows Phone 7.5 handset, the Titan, so we take a look at the giant device.
The Titan is one of the biggest handsets around at the moment, boasting a 4.7in touchscreen. We found this both a good thing and a bad thing whilst trying out the phone.
It performs well with its 1.5GHz processor and 512MB of RAM, running the Mango operating system smoothly. The only thing differentiating it from other Windows Phone devices is HTC's green colour scheme.
We'll be bringing you a full review of the Titan later this week. µ

Microsoft still seems to exert too much control over the hardware. For example, as large as that screen is, it still is limited to only 480×800 resolution, whereas the larger-screened Android phones can offer 540×960. Without the higher resolution, the Windows phone isn’t showing you any more, you’re just seeing the same thing, bigger.
