ANDROID TABLETS might not be quite as popular as the fruit themed alternative, but they are certainly proving to be more interesting.
We took the newish HTC Flyer and pitted it against the oldish Samsung Galaxy Tab 7in. With specifications that are quite different, we remain amazed at how well the Galaxy Tab performs against its newer rival.
And with Samsung announcing a rollout of Android 2.3 Gingerbread over the coming months to all 7in tablets, it seems like the older of the two is getting a new lease on life.
If the pen input matters to you, get the Flyer, but if you want a cheaper but just as capable model, we'll say go for the Galaxy Tab. µ
