Americans generally do the right thing, after first exhausting all the available alternatives - Winston Spencer Churchill
TODAY WAS Microsoft's Christmas Showcase event where The INQUIRER got to play on some of the big upcoming titles for the Xbox and Kinect.
We got to see many games in action or tried them ourselves today and we'll take a look at a few titles. All of the games will be available between September and Christmas and were announced at this years E3 conference.
First up was Gears of War 3, a third person shooter which will complete the Gears of War series. We played the cooperative multiplayer mode called 'Hordes' with four teammates.
The action was fast paced and good fun, with a selection of character and weapons to choose from. We imagine the game would be even better with the use of headsets for team chat.
Lovers of the first two parts will surely enjoy the next instalment.
We didn't get a chance to use it, but the Wireless Speed Wheel looked like a nice bit of kit which will go nicely with Forza Motorsport 4. It looks really nice, includes triggers, buttons and a D-pad, and it felt comfortable to hold. Microsoft claims it's very precise and we're sure driving game enthusiasts will like it.
