THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SUCCESSOR to the first Samsung Galaxy S smartphone, the Galaxy S II offers plenty to tempt the high-end phone lover. There's a dual-core 1.2Ghz Arm Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of mass storage.
There's also an 8MP camera that produces impressive still images as well as superb video. Samsung has used its Touch Wiz overlay too, and while we're not to keen on the customisation, it's not so bad as to put us off the phone.
Expect a full review shortly, once we've collected our thoughts. µ

first of all its not slow. there is no point where.its slow at all. even the camera is slick. had the pleasure of using it for a whole day when a friend who followed my suggestion asked me to fill it up with apps. Shadow of the guardian, eternal legacy etc everything is so smooth
To LAMM: face the truth that Iphone is no match againts SGSII... iphones are not capable to handle multiple transaction... it simply means no real multi-tasking...
animation transition is also smooth as the iphone...
so face the truth SGSII is a real phone... iphones are toys for idiots...
Good Phone
The Htc sensation has an internal 1 GB rom for storage where as the Samsung Galaxy S2 has 16 GB. With a few apps on them both are fine and work well, but try installing a large number of apps onto both and then you will see the sensation choke. Also if the OS gets improved and increases in size this will be a problem for the sensation.
Look at the framerate this smartphone with this impressive spec is putting out... DAMN IT, when will they learn that we want a user experience similar to the Iphone, what makes the Iphone so great is that EVERTHING IN IT RUNS AT 60 FPS.
Having a dual core, 1gb smartphone diplaying it's interface at 20-30 fps is a insult to the costumers.
Get rid of those bloated UIs, LOOK AT launcherPRO and ZEAM and try to LEARN something.. you don't want to go show your new super SGSII to your iphone fanboy friend only to have him saying "oh god, your phone is sooo slow, look at how smooth my iphone is...."
I hope samsung, motorola, HTC, LG and every other android manufacturer (INCLUDING GOOGLE that has not done a decent job on the default android launcher either) listen to us!
