A MOTHER clearing out her attic has made a considerable profit on an old games console and a handful of games.

The mom decided to put up an old, but in good condition, Nintendo games console on Ebay after stumbling upon it in the loft.

The woman in question, who probably wouldn't have used the username Lace_thongs35 if she had known how much attention her auction would have recieved, later found that the Nintendo had sold for about £1,000.

Unless someone had just woken up from a coma and discovered Ebay before finding out that the Nintendo is out of date and interest rates haven't gone 'mental' there must have been something very special about the console.

Well, there isn't, but there is about one of the games. Although there were only five games in the bundle, one of them raised the interests of Nintendo obsessives, particularly because there are only reckoned to be about 200 that were released, with only ten still in existence.

This is the key part of the Ebay listing, (Lacy_thong's caps), "HERE ARE 5 GAMES WITH IT. THEY ARE, FAMILY & FITNESS STADIUM EVENTS IN THE ORIGINAL BOX WITH THE DUST JACKET INSIDE OF THE BOX..."

According to Wikipedia, so it must be true, this is one of the rarest licenced games ever made for the system, so what with that, and its dust jacket in the box, daylight avoiding fanboys will have been fighting between themselves to get their hands on the bundle. µ
