GAMES DEVELOPER Rockstar has opened the San Andreas Flight School for its GTA Online gamers.
The GTA Online Flight School update is available now and will let players grab and fly a training jet and use it to complete a selection of challenges.
Once these are completed a larger world of flight is revealed and players will be able to load a jet with their entourage and fly off to do whatever it is that GTA Online players do together.
"Once it's 'mission accomplished' and you're out of your heroic new Flight Suit, spend your shore leave buzzing the skies in the luxury Swift helo, or cram your entire squad into the new 16-seater Buckingham Mil-Jet for team transport in style," said Rockstar as it went through a list of things to expect.
"Hit the silk with a collection of new Chutes and Parachute Bags, and if things get a little out of control, rely on the Reserve Parachute to give you a second chance at that soft landing - or use it to get creative with your precision dives.
"Later, hit the streets in the shapely Invetero Coquette Classic, available in either hard-top or topless roadster variants for whatever your sea-level speed fix."
New parachutes and bags to put them in are exciting on their own, but the Flight Club also brings new challenges, including races, chases, capture the flag, and naturally, combat.
The GTA Online Flight Club update is available for both the Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) and Microsoft Xbox 360 games consoles. Rockstar said that users should find that it automatically installs. µ
