NEW YORK: HARDWARE MAKER Acer unveiled the Aspire Switch 10 two-in-one device on Tuesday, which arrives running Windows 8.1.
The laptop/tablet hybrid can switch between four different modes, much like Lenovo's Yoga tablets, thanks to Acer's magnetic snap switch. These modes include display, tent, laptop and tablet.
The Acer Aspire Switch 10 also features an Intel Atom chip, a 10in full HD IPS display and an aluminium finish, making the device look like a miniature Macbook laptop. It also comes complete with Acer's Build Your Own Cloud technology onboard, as the firm looks to persuade users to lessen their reliance on physical hard drives. µ
