SOFTWARE HOUSE Microsoft announced Satya Nadella, previously its EVP of cloud and enterprise, as its new CEO today, and said that he will take the corporate reins from Steve Ballmer effective immediately.
Of course, the internet has been quick to react to the news, and despite Nadella's apparently dislike for Twitter - with his latest tweet dating back to 2010 - the microblogging service is full of comments, both positive and not, about his new role at Microsoft.
We've compiled a list of our favourite tweets following Microsoft's CEO announcement, and will be keeping an eye on Twitter for any more that catch our attention. Take that as a challenge, if you wish. µ

Really looking forward to seeing what Satya Nadella is going to do with Nokia. I hope he starts by ditching the ringtone of death— Anna Taylor (@Anna_F_Taylor) February 4, 2014
Granted I know little about Satya Nadella, I think #Microsoft should've grabbed outside talent to lead them. They need internal disruption.— Danny Ori (@DannyOri) February 4, 2014
Saw his first interview, Satya Nadella has some good vibes going on... I sense good things to come for @Microsoft in the coming years.— Emmanuel Pacamalan (@EmmanuelGemini) February 4, 2014
Gotta wonder if Satya Nadella is a rebound relationship CEO after Ballmer. Don’t think he’ll last. The real news is Gates quiet return.— Patrick McFadin (@PatrickMcFadin) February 4, 2014
Poor Satya Nadella.. He will not be able to use his Mac anymore..— Comedian Praveen (@Funny_Leone) February 4, 2014
