LAS VEGAS: CHINESE HARDWARE OUTFIT Lenovo has unveiled the Thinkpad 8 tablet at CES.
Measuring 132x224x8.8mm, the Thinkpad 8 features an 8.3in 1920x1200 resolution full HD display with 10-point multitouch support.
The tablet is powered by a quad-core 2.4GHz Intel Bay Trail Atom Z3770 processor and boasts 2GB of RAM, so it should be able to outperform most other tablets in its size bracket. Lenovo told The INQUIRER that the chip's low power demands mean that the Thinkpad 8 will last for up to eight hours of regular use on one charge.
