CHINESE HARDWARE MAKER ZTE has unveiled a number of products ahead of next week's Consumer Electronics Show (CES), including a smartwatch, an Android phablet and the ZTE Grand S II smartphone.

The ZTE Grand S II handset is the sequel to the firm's present flagship Grand S smartphone, which was unveiled at last year's CES in Las Vegas. The firm has yet to reveal full specifications for the handset, but said that it will feature its "intelligent voice control technology" and triple mic noise reduction.

The Grand S II is one of five smartphones that ZTE plans to reveal at CES. The Nubia S5 and Nubia S5 Mini are among the others, and both come with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The ZTE Nubia S5 will also have a 5in 1080p HD screen and 13MP rear-facing camera with 4K video capture, while its miniature sibling will feature a 4.7in Sharp IGZO display.

The ZTE Senota 4G is also set for a CES debut, and is billed as a budget LTE smartphone, featuring a dual-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip, a 4in screen and a 5MP rear-facing camera.

Rounding off ZTE's upcoming smartphone lineup is the Iconic Phablet device. While ZTE has not revealed full specifications, it said that the phablet will feature a 5.7in HD screen, Dolby Digital Sound and a wireless charging feature.

ZTE won't be showing off just smartphones however, as the firm has also teased its debut smartwatch, the ZTE Bluewatch. This will feature a pedometer for fitness tracking and a camera, and will offer access to Facebook and Twitter.

ZTE EVP and mobile division chief Zeng Xuezhong said, "ZTE has been developing a portfolio of fantastic consumer electronics on top of the smartphones for which we've become well known.

"This year, we will be focusing on pairing unique designs with unparalleled technology in order to offer customers the best possible experience at an affordable price."

We'll be at CES next week, so check back then for all the latest. µ
