BARCELONA: COMPUTER MAKER HP unveiled its first detachable two-in-one tablet and ultrabook hybrid for businesses in Barcelona on Tuesday, the Spectre X2 Pro.
Aimed at eliminating the need for employees to bring their own devices (BYOD) to the office, the Spectre X2 Pro will help those workers who aren't provided with separate tablets and PCs by IT departments.
The Spectre X2 Pro's chassis is made of aluminium and features HP's Coolsense technology, which allows it to adjust its temperature based on usage and conditions.
On the inside, the HP Spectre X2 Pro will be powered by Intel's latest fourth generation Haswell Core i3 or Core i5 processors. There will be an SSD drive for internal storage.
The Spectre X2 Pro will be available in Europe sometime in November, at a guide price of €999. µ
