MAN OF MANY FACES Doctor Who has parked his Tardis outside London's Earl's Court and internet search giant Google has put the thing on its Maps.
The Tardis, Time and Relative Dimension In Space, is a police telephone box, and it is an innocuous one of those that takes you within the bigger time machine.
The inside of the Tardis can be accessed by going here on Google Maps and clicking on the double arrow that points at the telephone box.
Once inside you can spin and look around the Tardis and have good gander at new Doctor Who Peter Capaldi's domain.
Doctor Who has parked just outside the Earl's Court tube station. It is possible that he is traveling around the London Underground, having been like so many before him confused by its map.
While he is away, and while the Tardis is there, it is definitely worth a look.
Easter eggs are commonly found on websites and in applications. A popular one to use is the Konami code. This works on a range of websites with varying results.
Microsoft Excel hides a decent game of pinball, while if you pause a Youtube video and type in 1980 you will transported back in time and given the chance to play the classic game Missile Command.
Also in Google's webpages, though this time in its Directions section of Maps, is a Hobbit egg. If you go there, select walking directions and set a route between the Shire and Mordor, and you will be informed, "Use caution - One does not simply walk into Mordor." µ
