INTERNET GIANT Google's new Nexus 7 is, thanks to the lack of an iPad announcement this year, the most hyped tablet of 2013 so far, and we managed to get our hands on the device ahead of its arrival in the UK.
Set to arrive on 28 August, according to Asus, Google's new Nexus 7 is the highest resolution 7in tablet with its screen boasting a 1920x1200 resolution. It's also one of the fastest tablets on the market thanks to its quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chip and 2GB of RAM.
The new Nexus 7 is also the first tablet to arrive running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, which gives the device Open GLS 3.0 support and restricted profiles. As a Nexus branded tablet, it offers a vanilla Android experience that's good for those who want an simple, easy to use tablet.
Other specifications include 5MP and 1.2MP dual cameras, a 3,950mAh battery, 16GB and 32GB internal storage versions and a 4G LTE model. µ
