Turn any Android smartphone into a handheld gaming device
Tue Jul 09 2013, 15:05

MOBILE GAMING ACCESSORY MAKER Moga showed off its gaming systems at an Amazon Christmas event today, demoing two gamepads that turn any Android smartphone into a handheld gaming device.

Now available in the UK, the Moga Pocket and Moga Pro work with any Android smartphone, allowing gamers to play any game from the Google Play store, including console style video games that have proven difficult to control with the fingertips.

Connecting wirelessly via Bluetooth, the Moga Pocket features all of the bells and whistles that you'd expect on an Xbox or Playstation controller, including analogue sticks, shoulder triggers and four action buttons. The phone slots into a clamp at the top.

The Moga Pro controller gives a more console feel for gamers looking for extended gameplay, and more closely resembles a console controller with uts full size grips, dual analogue sticks and a D-Pad. The Pro also doesn't require batteries as it is fully rechargeable.

The Moga Pocket is priced at £29.99, while the Moga Pro will set you back £39.99. µ
