PIG BASHING KAMIKAZI AVIAN GAME Angry Birds is winging its way towards Nintendo game machines, the Wii and Wii U.
Perhaps you've never played Angry Birds, or perhaps you've never heard of it. The game has been so heavily commercialised that there is even a Star Wars version of it.
It is on Android phones, iPhones, the Xbox, Rovio's digital media streaming box and probably the backs of people's heads on the bus.
It is lacking from the Nintendo gaming proposition, though, meaning that if you live in a walled garden built by that Mario guy, it might have passed you by.
Well, those wings won't flutter past you anymore, and Nintendo gadgeteers will very soon be able to download the Angry Birds Trilogy pack and begin a relentless campaign of vengeance against pigs.
Included are Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio as well as some promised exclusive levels.
The title is announced in a Youtube video that is scored with the instantly recognisable - oh, that's where the kids are - Angry Birds soundtrack.
It shows all the action we have come to know, birds that choose to catapult each other and kill pigs rather than fly up and try to communicate with them, and the promise of exclusive Nintendo levels has us picturing Mario's land of pipes and mushrooms.
The trailer promises a bonus 40 hours of gameplay and the release date of 13 August.
For any concerned pigs that might be reading, 13 August is a Tuesday. µ
