CHINESE HARDWARE MAKER Huawei announced the Ascend P6 on Tuesday, a device that claims the title of the world's thinnest smartphone at 6.18mm thick.
As well as being skinny and looking an awful lot like the iPhone 5, the Huawei Ascend P6 features a high-end 4.7in HD screen, a quad-core 1.5GHz processor and Google's Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating system skinned with Huawei's custom Emotion user interface.
It has an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera and 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD. There are also a number of software features onboard, as the firm looks to challenge the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4.
The Huawei Ascend P6 will be available in the UK from next month, priced at around £400 SIM-free. µ
