GAMES HOUSE Codemasters has shown off a gameplay video of its hurl cars round tracks game, Grid 2.
The game is up for presale at high street stores and the webstore Game. There you can pick up a special collectors edition for £125,000.
For that money you get a one off, custom made BAC Mono supercar to accompany your game, plus a console to play it on and a whole load of other stuff, too.
"It's great to be back here again and this time I've got some exciting news about a one-of-a-kind Grid 2 special edition, exclusive to Playstation fans," said a Codemasters blog entry posted to the Playstation website.
"We reckon it's the most exclusive special edition that's ever been created, and most expensive. That said, it does deliver the ultimate racing experience for a gamer.
That's not the only gewgaw tempting gamers, and the trailer shows off the details of the Grid 2 Race Day special edition pack, something that is available to those who choose to preorder the game.
This includes a bonus of two routes at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Circuit, a couple of cars, including the Nissan GT-R, special liveries for use in online play and customisation, and five routes around the Yas Marina circuit
The game, which will see drivers compete against other drivers will wildly differing driving styles in a sort of car-based battle royale, will be released at the end of May on PS3 and Xbox 360, while other cheaper versions are also available. µ
