CHIPMAKER INTEL showed off a "perceptual computing" device today that promises abilities similar to those of the Xbox Kinect.
Demonstrating the research project at an Intel Future Showcase in London on Thursday, Intel said the technology incorporates its software development kit (SDK), allowing potential developers to make video based applications to take advantage of the software's motion sensing capabilities via a camera that's due for launch "in the second half of this year".
