Sony teases PS4 fans with an egg-shaped mystery

JAPANESE ELECTRONICS HOUSE Sony is teasing its fanbase with a picture of something that resembles an egg but could contain the Playstation 4 or a smartphone.

We don't know what it is. We've stared at it for so long that we've had to go and boil and egg and eat it.

What is it? It's egg shaped. That much we know. It has a cut out on it. That's clear too. There's something inside it. We think.

Hedging our bets here, were are going to say that Sony will open up the egg at Easter and show us its Playstation 4 (PS4) games console.

Sony is revving up for its PS4 launch. Last month, at an event in America it 'launched' the PS4, but only showed off its controller. The PS4 games console itself is now all we are waiting to see.

Most people will be so hopped up on the serotonin produced by chocolate at Easter, or as we are now calling it, PS4 revelation time, that Sony's Facebook page will be electric. Already people are speculating about the mystery item.

All Sony is saying is "It's coming," which is maddeningly tantalising. We've asked Sony in the UK for more information, but we suspect that the INQUIRER, just like everyone else, will have to wait 'til Easter to find out what is coming, and to where. µ
