EDUCATIONAL PUPPET SHOW Sesame Street is the first non-profit organisation to achieve one billion views on Youtube.

The show had campaigned to hit this target and asked that people watch its videos to help it on its way. Watching Sesame Street videos is no real hardship, and it seems that people were glad to take part and help out.

A top secret video was promised for when that number was reached, and now that the Sesame Street channel has 1,001,202,937 views, infamous numerologist Count von Count is ready with a song to celebrate hitting that high number.

"Thank you for viewing our Sesame Street videos over ONE BILLION times and helping us become the first nonprofit organization to reach this milestone! Count Von Count is very excited about this achievement, so he put together this song for YOU," says the message that accompanies the video.

"Help continue our mission of educating children around the world and subscribe to our Youtube Channel."

Over the years Sesame Street has delivered some classic videos and characters. Recent favourites of ours have been Feist's version of 1,2,3,4 and James Blunt's beautiful and heartbreaking song, "My triangle".

We wish Sesame Street a very happy one billion views on Youtube and think ourselves lucky that we don't have to light the candles on its cake. µ
