Budget smartphone maker eyes Google and HP with 7in Android tablet

BARCELONA: BUDGET SMARTPHONE MAKER Alcatel has become the latest manufacturer at MWC to join the competitive 7in tablet race, launching the Android powered One Touch Tab 7HD.

The tablet, which is destined to compete with the Google Nexus 7 and HP Slate7, features a 1280x800 resolution touchscreen, a dual-core 1.6GHz processor and 2MP and 0.3MP dual cameras.
