MICROCHATTING SERVICE Twitter has bent to the whim of the internet and added a Lolcat language setting.
For the uninitiated, Lolcat speak is a popular online method of saying things that makes you sound like a cat that can talk childishly, or an idiot.
It is a meme that involves pictures of cats, doing something or not doing something, and a caption of text. The text will say something like, "Im in ur bag, eating ur biscuits. Problem?"
It began with a cat that wanted a cheeseburger, and went on with a cat looking out of a hole in a ceiling and a message warning you that it is watching you doing something that you would rather people, or indeed cats, did not watch. From there it went viral. Or became a meme.
There are various uses of Lolcat on te internetz, including a plan to translate the bible into cat speak.
Twitter quietly added the feature on Friday, sliding it out in an announcement on, guess where? Yes, Twitter of course.
Happeh Fridai! U can nao change ur language 2 lolcat in Settings. Hope u liek it. twitter.com/settings twitter.com/twitter/status…

The option is on Twitter under your settings section. There you must look for the Language option, click it, scroll down and select Lolcat. It is presently in beta... or should that be Kitteh? µ
