THE JAILBREAK of Apple's iOS 6 called Evasi0n is gathering a lot of attention, with millions of people jumping onto its download website.
As soon as it was released the Evasi0n jailbreak was hot news, and it gained a mention on Twitter's trends list.
Hacker pod2g has posted some statistics from the download website. They aren't all available yet, but what there is shows that the website has had almost three million unique users.
"Here are partial statistics of the evasi0n.com website. Google analytics seems busy updating its database, so I can't show data for the 4th of february (certainly the most interesting figures, since it's the day of release)," he said.
"Nearly 3 million unique visitors! Thank you very much for the interest in evasi0n! And thanks to Cloudflare for the quality of their service!"
Jay Freeman, or @Saurik on Twitter, said that a spike of over four million unique devices have used Cydia since the Evasi0n jailbreak release.
More than four million unique devices used Cydia since the evasi0n jailbreak release. (Note: due to downtime, we may have not counted some.)

In a follow-up to that message Pod2g added that China has provided the most traffic, 20 percent, then the US with 17 percent, and then France with six percent. The UK is sixth with around three percent.
Earlier, pod2g said that the Cydia website was under heavy load, and warned users to expect slow service. µ
