CRIME GAME Grand Theft Auto 5 will not come out until the Autumn.
The game has been sitting in preorder status for months now, and an early Spring launch was rumoured. Not so, though. We will have to wait until the leaves turn brown to paint our console gaming red and green.
We should take this as a good thing, according to Take Two and Rockstar, and spend the next seven months considering how jaw-droppingly awesome the game is going to be. According to the promotional blurb, people are going to get carpet burns on their chins.
It talks of "[t]he biggest, most dynamic and most diverse open world Rockstar Games has yet created", a blending of storylines and the return of "[a]ll the classic hallmarks of the groundbreaking series".
"Grand Theft Auto V continues to push the series forward in new ways; Rockstar North [is] creating our deepest, most beautiful and most immersive world yet," said Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games. "We are very excited for people to learn more about the game in the coming months."
