FINNISH PHONE MAKER Nokia's latest Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 620 started shipping in the UK today.
That's courtesy of online retailer Unlocked Mobiles, which today started sending out Lumia 620s to those who keenly preordered the smartphone. Those who didn't can order the phone now for £214.98 SIM-free, with the retailer promising next day delivery.
The Nokia Lumia 620 is an affordable Windows Phone 8 device that made its debut at the Le'Web conference back in December. The phone features a 3.8in 480x800 Clearblack touchscreen, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and all the features found in Microsoft's latest mobile operating system.
However, the handset's main selling point, according to Nokia, is its different coloured "dual-shot" casing.
"Dual-shot adds a second layer of coloured, transparent or translucent polycarbonate on top of a base layer to produce secondary colour blends and depth effects," the Finnish phone maker explains.
The handset also features a 5MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, 8GB of internal storage and a 1,300mAh battery.
The INQUIRER will be getting its mitts on the Nokia Lumia 620 tomorrow, so check back soon for our review. µ
