CES: Plastic Logic Papertab video demo

Paper thin tablet innovation looks good on paper

LAS VEGAS: ONE OF the headline grabbing products on show at this year's CES was the Papertab.

Developed by Plastic Logic, which has worked with Intel Labs and Queens University to develop the technology, the tablet is powered by a second generation Intel Core i5 processor and aims to replace the need for paper.

THE INQUIRER popped along to a special briefing to take a closer look at the device in action and see how it worked.

While it's not comparable to tablets such as the iPad just yet, it certainly offers a compelling insight into the potential future for tablet computing. µ
