LAS VEGAS: GADGET MAKER Innergie announced the Pocketcell Duo today, its latest rechargeable battery that can recharge two devices at the same time.

The original Pocketcell managed to impress us here at The INQUIRER, so much so that we featured it on our list of the top 10 gadgets for Christmas 2012. However its latest model, the Pocketcell Duo looks even more impressive thanks to its ability to recharge two different devices at one time. The device's 6,800mAh battery is capable of charging a smartphone four times or a tablet once, Innergie claims, perfect for when your gadget is running out of juice while you're on the go.

According to Innergie, the Pocketcell Duo can speedily charge two difference devices at the same time, be it an iPhone or iPad, Android smartphone or tablet or other USB gadget. Even though it is capable of charging more devices than its predecessor, the Pocketcell Duo is still pocket friendly at just 95x44x25mm.

There's a Magic Cable Trio included too, a 3-in-1 charger with an Apple 30-pin connector and microUSB and miniUSB cables. Fear not iPhone 5 users, as Innergie has told The INQUIRER that Apple's new Lightning cable can also be attached to the Pocketcell Duo, and an updated model with a proprietary cable expected to tip up later this year.

The Pocketcell Duo will be released across Europe later this year, although its pricing and availability are still to be confirmed. The previous model retails for £79.99 here in the UK. µ
