THE POCKET VERSION of classic game Football Manager 2013 is out now and available for IOS and Android devices.
The new version of the game, which is available from Apple, Google and Amazon app stores, has some updates from the previous release that should make players feel more involved.
According to the firm these are based on user feedback and include improved player comparisons, player photos, an increase in the number of playable leagues, a jump from 12 to 14 through the inclusion of two Irish leagues, Twitter support, player promotions and fresh in game achievements.
Some achievements are unlockable as you play through, while others can be bought from the games store.
Ones that might tempt people with a bit of spare cash include a "Sugar daddy", who is someone with money to be associated with the club, the ability to increase the size of your stadium, a crack at national management from the off, and - important in these turbulent times - manager immunity, otherwise known as a seat on the board.
