KOREAN PHONE MAKER Samsung has released a teaser video ahead of CES 2013, hinting that its next generation flagship smartphone could debut at the Las Vegas show.
The 18 second clip promises that "Something New" and innovative will make its debut at CES in January, adding that the announcement is something that the world has been waiting for.
Maybe we're reading too much into it, but this seems to suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S4 could make its debut at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show, four months earlier in the year than the Galaxy S3 was announced.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 might still be selling in its millions, but that hasn't stopped rumours from whirling about Samsung's next generation flagship smartphone. According to speculation, the handset might arrive with a 5in 1920x1080 Super AMOLED touchscreen with a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch, which if true would put Apple's Iphone 5 to shame.
There's also talk that this display could be one of the first to be flexible, a rumour which has been circulating for quite some time.
Other rumoured Samsung Galaxy S4 specifications include an upgraded quad-core Exynos processor, Google's Android 4.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating system and support for 4G LTE in the UK.
Of course, we could be completely wrong with our predictions. However, we'll be at CES between 8-11 January, so we shall see. µ
