GAMES DEVELOPER Rockstar has teased fans of its Grand Theft Auto series with three screens from its incoming Vice City update.
The anniversary rerelease of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City comes out this Thursday and will see the 10 year old game appearing on select IOS and Android devices. Rockstar has provided a list of supported devices.
The game will cost less than a fiver and rather than a stripped down version of the original it promises to offer players some improvements.

As an accompaniment to these first screens from the game, Rockstar teased out some more information, explaining that it includes "updated character models and lighting effects as well as new and more precise firing and targeting options".
It had us at "more precise firing".
The Grand Theft Auto games are massive in scale, and 10 years old or not, this will be a treat for tablet users and patient smartphone owners.
While you won't have the easy to use games controller to use, Rockstar has already proved that it can make a good tablet version of GTA with Grand Theft Auto III, which it released last year. µ
