INTERNET SEARCH GIANT Google's 3G-enabled Nexus 7 tablet is back in stock in the UK, two weeks after it promptly sold out.

Panicked Christmas buyers will be pleased to hear that the Google Nexus 7 3G is now available at the Google Play store, with the website promising that the device will be delivered within three to five days.

There's still no sign of the Google Nexus 4 though, which is still showing as 'sold out' on the Google Play store. We've been in touch with Google to ask when stock of the LG Nexus 4 smartphone is expected to arrive, but it has not yet responded.

Still, at least today brings good news for those with a Nexus 7 3G on their Christmas lists. The Nexus 7 tablet is nearly identical to the original version of the Asus tablet, although it has an extra 16GB of internal storage, upping the amount to 32GB.

The tablet also comes with an upgraded version of its Android operating system, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which brings a few new features to the Nexus tablet. These include an upgraded version of Google Now, a new Swype-like keyboard and access to Google Music and Movies in the UK.

The Google Nexus 7 3G is available now for £239. µ
