FRUIT THEMED MOBILE OPERATOR Orange has revealed plans to sell the HTC Windows Phone 8S, which is expected to start shipping this month.
On its 'coming soon' page, Orange has outed that it will sell the HTC Windows Phone 8S on both pay monthly and pay as you go plans, although there's no word on the phone's pricing.
There's also no word on a release date either, leading us to believe that the handset's arrival might have been delayed.
That's because the last we heard the HTC Windows Phone 8S was tipped to start shipping on 15 November, but all of the retailers we checked are still offering the handset for preorder.
We've asked HTC whether the handset has been delayed, although we've not heard back.
The HTC Windows Phone 8S is a cheaper alternative to the HTC Windows Phone 8X. As well as Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 operating system, the phone features a 4in WVGA screen and a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor.
There's also a 5MP rear-facing camera with HD 720p video, 4GB of internal storage expandable to 32GB, integrated Beats Audio technology and a 1,700mAh battery
Check out our HTC Windows Phone 8S hands-on review.
Update
HTC has told us that the phone is still expected to arrive mid-November, but there's no exact date yet. Sounds like it could land any day now. µ
