INTERNET SEARCH GIANT Google's first 10in tablet, the Nexus 10 has promptly sold out in the UK.
Over on the Google Play store, both the 16GB and 32GB Nexus 10 models are now showing as sold out just 24 hours after the tablet went on sale. There's no word when Google will be receiving its next batch of the Samsung tablets either, as the page simply states, "We are out of inventory. Please check back soon."
The firm's 3G enabled Nexus 7 that also went on sale yesterday is also showing as sold out on the Google Play store, despite costing more than the 7in WiFi-only tablet models at £239.99 upfront.
Neither tablet sold out as quickly as the LG Nexus 4 though, which was showing as sold out at the Google Play store just minutes after it went on sale. That's not surprising considering the prices of the top-end smartphones, with the 8GB and 16GB models priced at just £239 and £279 SIM free, respectively.
We've contacted Google to see when it will be getting more stock of its latest Nexus kit, but it has not yet responded. µ
