MOBILE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER Google's Android 4.2 Jelly Bean flagship smartphone, the Nexus 4 has already sold out in the UK.
According to twitterings on Twitter, the Nexus 4 went on sale at around 8.30am this morning, before showing as 'not available' on the Google Play store around ten minutes later. Frustrated buyers are moaning that both the 8GB and 16GB models have sold out, quite likely due to the handsets' low £239 and £279 SIM free price tags.
The few people who managed to buy the smartphone have reported that it will start shipping on 15 November.
We've been in touch with Google to clarify that the handset has sold out, but it had not responded at the time of publication.
Still, fear not Android fans, as it's not just the Nexus 4 that went on sale in the UK this morning. Google's first 10in tablet, the Samsung Nexus 10 is also now available. While it looks like the £389 32GB model has already sold out, the 16GB version is still available to buy for £319.99.
The 3G enabled Google Nexus 7 is also now available, priced at £239. µ
