GAMES DEVELOPER Rockstar has announced that it will release the next installment of Grand Theft Auto next Spring.
Rockstar said Grand Theft Auto V is "expected" to launch globally in the Spring of 2013 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
According to the rest of the press release gamers are in for a treat.
"Grand Theft Auto V takes place in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California in the largest and most thriving game-world we have ever created set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and for miles beyond - from the tops of the mountains to the depths of the ocean," it says.
You can preorder the game from early November and Rockstar said that it will pump out a "host of new information" about the game during that month.
So far information has been slight. We've had a trailer, which is good, and some screenshots. There have been pictures of some of the vehicles you might get to use and some idea of the look and feel of the game. It looks and feels like a stone cold classic, just like all the other GTAs.
Rockstar is also working on a version of Grand Theft Auto Vice City for Android and IOS devices. This mobile version of the game follows the re-release of Grand Theft Auto III and will come out later this year. µ
