THE SAMSUNG ATIV S was originally unveiled at IFA in Berlin. Yet, despite being the first ever Samsung smartphone to run Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 operating system, interest in the device has remained muted.
In general people have remained far more interested in Nokia's Lumia 920 flagship Windows Phone 8 handset, citing its upgraded Pureview camera and host of custom apps as proof it will be superior.
