People under the age of 25 are too young to be able to afford cynicism - Diogenes the Pseudo Pesky Cynic
TELEVISION FUNNYMAN Jimmy Kimmel has pulled a prank on US passersby, telling them that an Ipod is the new Ipad Mini.
This is the second time in a month that the joker has pulled this prank. Last time was when Apple launched the Iphone 5. Then he convinced people on the street, many of whom owned an Iphone 4S, that an Iphone 4S was an Iphone 5.
The gag worked. It worked well.
The prank has worked again, this time with the aforementioned Ipod Touch and Ipad Mini flimflam.
Anyone with a passing knowledge of the new Ipad Mini would know that it has a screen that is 7.9in big. That's bigger than an Iphone 4S, and if you want to check that, check your pocket and pull out your Iphone 4S.
The people though were convinced. Many said that the Ipad Mini was "very light", "Nice", "Lightweight", "Pretty cool". Others thought that it was "cutting edge" and "bevelled" and "convenient".
Someone speculated whether it had an HD screen, because it was a little bit shinier. "I'd definitely buy one," said another. The last guy speaks the most sense. µ
