INCOMING XBOX GAME Halo 4 will be boosted with some maps in the coming months, and early adopters can snap them up with a 15 percent discount.
Two more map packs will follow in February and April, according to Microsoft and 343 Industries, and you can buy them in advance for 2,000 Microsoft Points, or about £17.
If you choose to buy the three map pack you will be rewarded with a 15 percent saving on their overall price, and will get two in-game helmets, called Scanner and Strider, and a special in-game emblem called Falcon.
December's set is called the Crimson pack and includes maps called Harvest, Shatter and Wreckage. February's is dubbed Majestic and brings Landfall, Monolith and Skyline, and April adds the Castle set with maps called Daybreak, Outcast and Perdition.
Alternatively the Map pack will be included in the Halo 4 limited edition. This will cost £70 and include a feature length, 90 minute version of the live-action digital series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. µ
