GARDEN OF EDEN THEMED Apple has sent out press invitations to an event later this month where it just might announce the much rumoured Ipad Mini.
The invitations have an oblique reference to something small, and include the text, "We've got a little more to show you".
The event is invitation only, of course, and kicks off at nine in the morning on 23 October. If you want to stand outside and look wistful then the place to go is the California Theatre in San Jose.
What can we assume about the Ipad Mini? Well the clue is in the name. It is certain to be smaller than the existing model.
It could have a 7in screen, like the Asus Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HD, and come in a range of memory sizes like 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, it might be black or white, and it could cost around £200.
It will have an engraving of an Apple on the back, people will probably queue up to buy it, and the world will stop and stare on the morning that they do.
Apple said that the event is US only, and that it will not be hosting a launch in the UK. µ
