CHINESE COMPUTER MAKER Lenovo unveiled a Windows 8 ultrabook on Wednesday, the touch optimised Ideapad Yoga 13, and The INQUIRER visited a Lenovo showcase in London to get a better look.

The Ideapad Yoga will come in 11in and 13in models, both with a high-definition IPS touchscreen display on a hinge that allows it to tilt 360 degrees, folding it from a laptop to a tablet in one motion.

As one of the world's first multi-mode ultrabooks, the Ideapad Yoga 13 measures 16.9mm thick, has a third generation Intel Core processor and comes with eight hours of battery life.

The Ideapad Yoga 13 will be available from early November starting at £999. µ
