CONSOLE MAKER Microsoft and 343 Industries have released the first installment of their live action web show based on Halo 4.
The first episode of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn was posted to Youtube today and the firms said that more episodes will follow until ultimately the game is released later this year.
It's live action and while it's no blockbuster it isn't quite amatuer hour either. Running at around twenty minutes the show is pretty good and has a lot of elements that longstanding fans will enjoy - not least of all a real life, moving warthog.
The series takes us right back to the start of the war between humans and the Covenant and follows a group of cadets through their training. One in particular, Thomas Lasky is our hero and it is him that we will meet again when the Halo 4 game is released in early November.
Five episodes of the show will be released over the next few weeks, with each premiering on a Friday.
We understand that people who watch all of them will have some insights into both the characters and the game itself. Halo fans, therefore, should probably indulge. µ
